I’ve worked in Canadian mortgages for more than 27 years, helping people understand what they may qualify for, what it may cost and which details could change the outcome.
My work includes residential and commercial mortgages, from straightforward purchases and renewals to situations involving self-employment, credit challenges, investment properties or more complicated financing needs.
Experience across the mortgage business
I began my career with RBC and later co-founded Sherwood Mortgage Group, where I worked across brokering, underwriting, compliance, operations and leadership. I also co-founded Sherwood Capital MIC.
That experience helps me look beyond a rate or payment. Income, debt, property costs, savings, timing and future plans can all affect whether a mortgage works, not only whether it can be approved.
